Smudge lines arcross windows
Today after i washed and dried my car, and when i began waxing, i noticed long smudge lines across my windows. No matter what i do they dont seem to come off. Inside and outside. Tried rubbing and everything but no success. A couple weeks ago my windows were screaching so the dealship lubricated the window guides (or whatever you call it). Could this have any effect on my windows making those smudges?

Window smudges
kRon,
If the smudges are only on the windows that were lubed by the dealer, then that is a good bet (esp. inside and out of same window).
The run of the mill window cleaner should remove most oil/grease-based lubricants. If the lubricant is wax based, then try to clean a small spot with WD-40 to test. Just spray a little on a cloth or paper towel the size of one or two fingers and rub the smudge to see if that will cut it.
I use WD-40 to remove road tar along the rocker panels, tree sap that may fall on the car paint surface and wax anywhere (e.g. kids crayons). Also dissolves most stubborn label adhesives.
