Does anyone else get drivetrain whine at certain speeds with their RX? My '02 RX has 13,000 miles on it and I get a whine that seems to come from the rear when I maintain a steady 41-43mph. Any other speed, it goes away,

Chances are the whine is coming from your tires especially if it is at certain speeds. It happened to me on my LS before after about 8,000 miles on a brand new set of Yokohama AVS dB. I thought the gearset or bearings in the rear axle were the culprits but after temporarily changing all 4 wheels/tires, it went away. If you have access to temporary wheel/tire replacements even if not the same size tires (Previa, Camry, Solara, Highlander, etc) check it out and let us know.
