k&n filter part number
Ok ive read somewhere that the k&n filter part number provided by stores is incorrect and the fit is imperfect. I just wanna make sure i get the right part number and it fits perfectly before i purchase one.
Also im taking my RX in for the 10k service at longo lexus and i was told there will be a fee???
And another question is if i do take my car in for service and have installed a k&n filter, would they replace that automatically or would i need to tell them to keep away from the filter?

I just ordered mine for my '02 RX from AJUSA.com. The part number is KN 33-2145-1 .
You will probably have to tell whoever not to touch the filter. The K&N that I got for my wife's Expedition came with a sticker that you put on the outside of the air cleaner housing that says that the filter is a K&N and is cleanable.
