2000 RX300 Bad Tire or Wheel Bearing

How do I know if I have a bad tire or if its my wheel bearing?

I hear the noise on the front driver side and it sounds like an airplane engine.

It makes the noise regardless of my speed.

Pretty rare for a tire to make that kind of racket. Easiest way to tell is move the front tire to the rear (or put on the spare) and see if the noise follows.

Sounds like an exhaust leak around flex coupling.

is the noise consistent regardless of speed or does it change pitch as you increase?
