P0440, p0446 & p0765
Hi there, while I'm fully aware that the 2 first codes are unrelated to the last one, I'll need help with all. This car as had evap issues for a while with P0442 popping up periodically even after buying a new gas cap from my local Lex dealership. The car also doesn't make a depressurization sound when open the gas cap. Could it be possible that the new cap is faulty? Though I've heard that P0446 can also be a VSV issue. Should I go ahead and change both?
Now for P0765, my Torque app says that there is an issue with the shift solenoid B but after a bit of digging, some people say that P0765 is triggered by D, which is it? How much will it cost me to replace either? Or is there a master solenoid kit that has all of them so that I could just replace them all in one go? The car just breached the 200k mi mark so I figured replaced them all might be a good idea while I have access to them.

There are two ways to fix a problem ... determine the area of a problem and then start throwing parts at it (most common failing to the leas) ... spend time and energy to isolate to single failing part.
Nothing wrong with either approaches but the second one needs a through understanding and at times special tools or techniques. Your approach seems to be the first one ... but do keep in mind it can be a brittle hose ($.02 figuratively) and you can keep replacing each part at a time and get no where.
Your second question is again in the line of the first approach + you want to prevent a future failure (imaginary or impending ... who knows).
Hopefully other folks can give you advice that you can use.
