In the Repair Manual for the 2001 RX300 find Body Electrical Pages BE-15, BE-17 and BE-69, BE-71 for continuation of schematic.

I removed the SHORT Pin (#8) inside the Engine Room Junction Block thinking it was a burnt 30 Amp fuse. It was not! Don't do it! It is a tad bit wider and opaque yellow in color.

I have found no other post regarding this SHORT Pin. I can't say exactly if some of my issues resulted from removing and replacing this jumper since I pulled other fuses and a couple relays too.

The issues I am having and there might be more later when my wife brings the car home are the GPS reset and the Auto Door Lock seamed to have reset too. My wife also said the lamps that usually light when she uses her key FOB to lock and unlock the door are different. What that means I don't know but will clarify when I do.

My question is What have I done?
