You're right -- they do look a lot alike...imitation is the kindest form of flattery...Although, with the silver "L", the RX stands out...I do still like the RMM grill better than the original OEM - Kia aside...It has a classy look...

There is a SilverSport grill on ebay, I just saw it yesterday.

Looks like an IS300 grill.

You know, the Kia Sorento isn't a bad looking vehicle (probably because its looks were stolen from the RX).

If it wasn't more than what I got my RX for I might actually look into buying one...then of course it is a KIA, and Consumerreports.org said it was a POS (piece of $hiznit).

I got my 1999 RX for $23,6000 a year ago. A brand new Kia Sorento is something like $29,000, which is dumb because you can get a brand new RX (not the 330) for around $35,000.

You're right it is gone. I should've double checked before saying it was still there.

There is a Harrier grill. Of course I'm not sure why you'd want anyone to think your Lexus was a Toyota?

The silversport grill on ebay sold for $276!....You can see under "completed items" under 'rx300 grill'...I like the silversport grill but am not sure it would look good on my 1999 golden pearl rx...I, too, think the Sorrento looks good -- but would never look in that direction...I just bought my 1999 rx300 with 34k miles for $22,500...It's in great shape; came off a Mass lease; fulled loaded -- including Nakamichi system; listed for $40k; still under 4 year warranty for 4 more weeks...The car was built in August 1999 so it's practically a 2000...As others are doing, I'd like to "freshen it up" with newer lights, grill, etc...Am also very interested in seeing Daddy-o's pix of the 330 18" wheels/tires on his 300...Follow that on the link https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...id=89470...pix should arrive 7/29 or soon thereafter...

so what's the vote: put a 2001-2003 grill on my 1999, find a silversport grill, or get the RMM grill?...R

I think the SilverSport grill only comes in silver. Of course you could paint it. I was originally looking for a billet grill, but never found a nice one at a reasonable price.

The RMM grill doesn't look too bad, I actually like it better than the SilverSport grill personally.

I guess it is all personal choice. The 2001-2003 grill works for us, we just wanted our 99 to look newer.
