Default Need Wheel Offset advice

Hi everyone, thanks in advance for your suggestion.
I have a 2002 RX300 and purchased a set of used tire today without too much thinking.........
The tire size is 235 70 R16 and the rim size is 16*7. However when I measured the center hub size and wheel offset after I returned home the center hub size is 72 mm (60.1mm original) and the wheel offset is 42mm (35mm? original) .

A hub centric ring can solve the hub size problem but I am not sure if the wheel offset could give me extra trouble.

So, you bought tires on wheels? What were the wheels (Enkei, Konig, etc)? Was the offset stamped on the wheels?

Yes, the tire are the rims. The offset is 42mm from my measurement and online result.
