Does anybody know if you could use the front brake pads on a 2001 Toyota Highlander on a 99 RX 300 or does anybody have a Toyota part number for the front brakes on the RX so I could at least check.

try www.rockauto.com to check numbers
It shows different part numbers for Wanger pads so I would assume they are different somehow.

gp,
Thanx. The reasons I asked is twofold, I cannot get Lexus parts in Mexico through Toyota....even with a Toyota part number. Second, EBC shows that a 99 RX and an 01 Highlander share the same brake pad part number, but unfortunately, I see no schematics to check the length, height and width.
Normally, I can order parts from the US, but A MAJORITY of the time my friends and I with Lexuses have suffered theft at the hands of customs, and people refuse to ship to us anymore (since they are responsible for delivery).
I may have to try Wagner down here to see if they can do something.
