Welcome to Clib Lexus.
I recommend the new members read through the sticky threads.
Did you reset the CEL with the OBDII reader or by disconnecting the battery for about 20 mins. If yes, then tell us more about the repair and wigs sensors you purchased. Was it a DIY or you paid some for the repair.

I took it to a shop he disconected the battery to do the job , but when he started it back up drove off for a little and the same code came up for knock sensors every time it tries to go onto 3rd gear or over drive the lights comes back on

My guess would be that the harness is bad too (very common on these cars).
Also I would use OE parts only especially for the sensors.
Part # 82219-07010
What sux is you have to basically do the job a second time to get to it.

If you paid some one to do it, then take the vehicle back to the shop. Dont try to diagnose or fix something as the repair that you took it in for was not done properly. [there are exceptions but from your posts it seems the problem is still related to knock sensors].
If you did a DIY, then we have a few questions and potential help.
1. What are the new codes? After clearing Knock sensor codes, (without repair) the CEL comes up again, but you are able to get to OD. After many many clears, it will lock the OD out. So it is important that you get the codes read again. With repairs, you can potentially cause other problems.
2. Which sensors did you get. [Carguy's question was partially answered]
3. Do a detailed inspection of your work. Left off connector, disconnected hose, pinched wire/hose.
4. Worst is go back and undo and redo.

Well the shop that fixed it said they arent electricians they only mechanics so they cant fix a short, he said take it to an electrician to get it diagnosed. And the codes that read are only knock sensors , dosent kick in OD at all.. How do i unlock the od?

which knock-sensors did they use?
If not OEM ask them to replace with OEM and gem wires. (not sure how much the wires would change the things).

They claim they aren't electricians. If they can't diagnose and fix a knock sensor trouble code then they aren't mechanics either. Next they will claim they can't fix a vacuum leak because they aren't plumbers. Find a qualified mechanic to work on your car.

If you purchased the parts and the mechanic installed them for you, then you have to pay the mechanic again. Try talking to auto zone to pay for the 2nd time labor. You may find them amenable if you show the error now and it goes away with OEM parts.
No point in beating a dead horse, but we have discussed knock sensors many times here.
