Window switch has lost its spring tension
Went to roll up my window last night and heard a "cracking" sound at the switch. It then lost it's spring tension which would keep it in the center position between "up" and "down". Let me be clear here, there is no problem with the window glass or the switch electronics. I disassembled the switch cover and found the little white plastic bridge between the switch lever and the internal spring to be completely broken. This little part is approx. 1/4" by 1/2" in size and simply became brittle with age. Has anyone found a replacement for this small part? Or am I stuck buying a complete switch? Thanks

UPDATE - rear switches DO NOT contain the little piece I need. Fix is in progress. I bought two rear door switches (switch only, no wood trim) off Ebay and they are in transit. the piece I need is the same in all the window switches.

UPDATE - the switches from the rear doors DO NOT work for this fix! I received the two replacements I ordered and disassembled them. Unfortunately their internal design is different. The single switches use a simple spring and ball bearing setup, not the version as shown in the pictures below. I am going to order a different switch assembly (or model and 3D print a replacement). The pictures below show the little piece that broke inside the switch. I will update more when I get it solved.
Notice the little notch toward the top of the assembly.
Shattered piece
What a proper piece should look like!
