Having the same problem
Still haven't given up.
One thing I can't seem to understand is why the security light is not working at all. It doesn't come on at all anymore. It used to, but nothing I've tried has made this light flash once.
My master key, transponder key and valet key all work. The remote locks and unlocks the car, can roll down the windows, sunroof etc. but the security light is just non existent.
Is there a bulb for this? Or maybe a fuse? I can't find any info...

Security light doesn't turn on and key fob stopped
So I just picked up my Lx it was in need of some love and care I key fob wast working i changed the battery key fob worked on 3 occasions and stopped working.. while looking into things I noticed my security livht doesn't come on at all.. not sure if it's related but does anyone have a fix?
