Rebuilt engine w/fire and fuel will not start
1999 RX300, set for 4 months with the battery disconnected, while waiting for a rebuilt engine, now will not start. The car has fire and fuel and turns over fast, and has no codes showing. I was told that the computer may have lost its load (firmware I guess), because it was without a battery so long, is that possible? The other thing I noticed is that it does not seem to have a consistent spark, it seems like it is sparking slow.

thanks fastnoypi,
I checked the compression on the front cylenders and all 3 had 150lb or so. I assumed that the timing was on. I didn't check the rear bank, because I would have to pull it back apart. I didn't get any backfire either, but I guess I should pull it apart.

thanks fastnoypi,
The timing was off. I should have rebuilt the engine myself. Both cams were off by 10 teeth, after correcting that, it runs fine.
thanks again
