Sigh...my dad's 2001 RX3 got rear ended again. Second time this year, third time since we got it. He was sitting at a stop light too! Sigh..1st time hit: BMW 330i, 2nd time: Honda Oddyessy, 3rd time Lex ES3.

On the other hand, my dads thinking about trading in for a SC430, he says the car is "bad luck"...

 

Actually it could be making him money. Any of the rear end collision was heavy? As in he was injured with whiplash? He should be getting a attorney to explore his option. Does he have back problems from result of the accident? It's time to get some $$$ for his troubles.

 

nope..=/ just enough to scratch the bumper up and smash the muffler...all of the other cars went under the rx and suffered more damage..thats what they get.

 

Mine also was rear ended last year by a nissan altima. I was really disappointed. My rx got sandwiched in the middle. So it hit a winstar van in the front. The damage wasn't that much on my rx, compared to the altima, which was totally wiped out!!!! The van had a big dent in the rear door.

The damage on my rx was: the rear and front bumpers, the exhaust pipe( which the body shop got a new exhaust system for me) front grille was scratched up so they got it a new grille, condenser was damaged, and the rear floor of the spare tire was pushed in because the altima just went under the Rx.
I was really disappointed with that old lady that rear ended my RX. But I traded that RX in for a new GX470. It's a great SUV. But i still believe that the Rx300 was a very good and reliable vehicle. Hopefully they will keep the same standards on the new RX330 which will be Canadian made in a few months.
