Photo DIY: "Window Stuck/Stutter" CR2-12V Relay Replacement
Vehicle: 2000 Lexus RX300
Symptoms: When I press the window switch down for one of the "problematic windows" and I roll it down only part way, when i instruct it to roll up it won't respond and sometimes it will respond by rolling down all the way. Then once at the bottom the up switch may respond or it may not. Essentially this is a result of a sticky or "bad" relay on the window switch control board. One of these relays is on each control board for each window accordingly. Generally the front-drivers-side and front-passenger-side window's "control board relay" need to be replaced at some point.
Rather than buy a whole new control board that is likely very expensive and hard to come buy, just buy a handful of new relays and replace the relays on the control boards you are having problems with.
BUY Relays: At the time I am writing this I cannot find any available, but these go off and on eBay and AliExpress and other sites. I purchased 2 on AliExpress for about $10
Part: NAIS CR2-12V ACR231 M02
DIY: Replacing the CR2-12V Relay found in the window switch control board of a 2000 Lexus RX300 (Front Passenger Side Replacement Procedure Pictured)

Nice photos. There is another lengthy thread discussing this. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...-12v-nais.html
The relays are hard to come by at a good price. Right now available on ebay for $60.
My driver side window acted up last week. I took the panel apart and cleaned out the 17 years of dust. Seems to be working after reassembly. One part I could not fix is this white hairpin shaped piece that goes under each window switch button. Its role is to provide that clicky feeling when you go auto down/up. The driver one, which gets the most use, was in pieces. I swapped it with a rear window one.
If it acts up again I may try this $6.15 relay from Mouser, the specs look very close. Will have to deal with the different pinout.
