Default Hood Deflector - finally getting used to it

After a month of having put the hood deflector on, I really think I like the look. At least it separates me from all the rest around. Also have not noticed any new rock chips on the hood.

Looks good. Where did you buy it. I am thinking of getting one for mine.
Did you use 3m tape to install it?

got it at performanceproducts.com. There is no tape. You have to drill 2 small holes on the underside of the hood. Was a concern at first but plenty of room to drill. The model is Lund Interceptor.

Thanks for posting the pictures. I've been thinking about adding one to my RX330 (when they come out) and was wondering how it would mount and look. It's something I'd have to get used to.

My main reason for getting one is to deflect the bugs. The 330 windsheld gets covered when I go for a drive in the country (real bad at dusk). My Durango has the hood deflector and does much better.

I have always liked using them. I had one on my 1997 Black Rodeo, it blended in nice.
I had one on my 2000 Flame Red Durango, and I like the way the 3 pieces looked.
Was hesitant at first with the RX but as the chips started appearing and the bugs splattered all over the windshield, I gave in and put one on. I am happy with it overall, looks wise and functionality.

BUT BE REALLY CAREFULLY.

That thing has a top edge that is like a razor. While cleaning and waxing the hood, I came close to some really nasty slices across the hand and finger................
