Default 01 rx300 with 190K

The 01 fwd RX300 has beautiful lights and has a timeless style, what's not to love?
Also nice not having car payments btw recetly I noticed I get 22-23 MPG with 93 octane vs 19-20 with 87 lol

Except my failed transmission replaced with a rebuilt one, I like my 2000 in general. Two things I don't like:
The ride is too soft like a boat especially when turning.
The turning radius is too big, difficult to park in small space.

The boat feeling you get when turning might mean you need new struts...
People always look at me funny when I make a super wide turn to park They just don't kno

I know it is not the struts. It was like it when I bought it new in 2002. Toyota and Lexus used to build cars towards luxurious (aiming at MB?); Nissan and Infiniti used to build cars towards sporty (aiming at BMW?).

I recently acquired my 2001 RX, but it has been in the family for close to twenty years now and I love it. I think the styling is unique and holds up nicely, and mine happens to be in the champagne/gray two tone colorway. It has amenities that can still compete with some modern cars (ex. Touchscreen navigation, heated and power seats, a nice sound system, etc.) again, this is pretty impressive for a 17 year old car. It still rides smoothly and isn’t as sluggish as many people might think, at least the V6 under the hood is sporty enough for my needs. For me, it’s hard to imagine a better first car.

Reliable, smooth... Good car for a girl. Not much good for picking one up, though.

I still kept my 2000 RX. I got it new. She has about 235K on it. I still drive it on occassion. Her paint is still shiny as ever as its been parked in garage for 14+ years, may just get a car cover to help perserve her look. I could have trade her in when I got the rx350 but could not.
