I've had my car for 9 days and already racked up over 500 miles. As I look towards my 1K svc I wanted to get a few heads-ups on what to look and ask for, what should be done, and maybe how much it costs. Basically anything you feel would be helpful - THANKS!

The 1K check up is free. Just continue to monitor your car and tell them anything that you feel is not quite right. Pretty much all they do is do an inspection and top off any fluids that are low like the windshield washer fluids and anything else they fine a little low. At my dealer it took about 1 hour.

At the 1k service, if you have your license plates, the service techs can mount them for you. Not sure how it is on the RX330s, but on the RX300, they have to drill into the front bumper to mount the bracket. Most people probably would prefer the dealer to this, especially for free, then to do it themselves.
Our dealer offers at home or at work service at no additional charge. They just drive out (depending on service needed) the appropriate vehicle to do the work on site. If it's a major service, they'll even put a loaner on a flatbed truck, drive it to you, then put your car on the flatbed and then take it back to the dealership for service, all at no cost.
Oh I believe your 5k service should be free to.

Make sure to mention ANY problems you may be having, no matter how slight. If nothing happens, no problem...But, if the problem worsens, you have the advantage of mentioning it early in your ownership of the RX. It then becomes an "ongoing" problem, and the dealer will more willingly go the distance to fix it later, because you mentioned it earlier. The key is to get the Service Consultant (SC) to enter it into your computer record. Even question your SC about issues that others are experiencing. He may have, and offer, a fix for a problem you've yet to experience.
Good luck.
Good luck.

excellent Daddy-O - I will certainly mention everything. I get the impression that once you fill out your initial feedback questionaire you lose a lot of leverage.
