I want to replace my "D" (drive) indicator bulb. The dealer wants $130 in labor, so I am wondering how hard is it to access the panel. Does anyone have instructions or pictures? I am especially interested in specific instuctions on how to remove the various trims, etc. so I don't break any of the plastic pieces.
Is it an LED bulb?

This is a 99 rx300.

 

Many of us have this problem. Seem to be very common on earlier models. I attempted to remove the trim to get at the cluster, but stopped when I thought I could do some damage. I am still investigating. When the dissembly becomes appearent - we'll have pictures and instructions!

 

Thanks. I would hate to pay the dealer for the labor and then have another bulb go out soon after.
