Hi all,

I searched this forum for an answer but could not find anything definitive.

I am trying to upgrade all the interior lights in my wife's 2002 RX300 with LEDs but I am unable to find a kit that covers all lights. I am just wondering if someone knows of a kit or even whether two or more lights inside the car use the same type of bulb or not. Here is the list of lights I can think of:

• Dome light (1)
• Trunk light (1)
• Map lights (2)
• Door lights (2)
• Glove box light (1)
• Vanity lights (2)

Based on Sylvania's web site, they don't have vanity lights listed so I'm not sure which bulb types I need to use. I thought I read they use the same as Dome lights, but I just wanted to confirm.

In my experience, Its a HIT and MISS attempts to get the correct size. the dome lights and trunk lights are always different length listed from OEM, so you might have to measure precisely until you get the right one. Toyota/Lexus are usually longer than the regular DE3175

DON'T ORDER FROM THEM yet. there is different brightness of LEDs, some LED will be brighter than others. I found the cheap one on ebay and amazon works just as well or better than those listed above.

My go to brand is " jdm astar" bulbs from amazon since they haven't fail me at all. I bought a super bright paired of reverse bulbs from VLeds ($40) and it wasn't as good as my cheap $10 from JDM Astar.
