Mostlikely it is the A/C with is spilling out. The rain makes the air full of moisture and it condenses on the cold evap.

Kill A/C and see if you get water when it rains.

Could also be the sunroof drain is plugged. Pour water in the drain hole at the corner of the sunroof track and see if it spills out under the car; if not the drain is plugged. Blow it out until it does drain - I used a tight fitting straw and blew in it with my mouth (yes)!

Checking for leaks takes time and can be frustrating. But you must be methodical to solve the issue. The following is for checking the seals and body of the car, not the A/C system.

Pull out all the floor mats and dry any existing water inside the vehicle as best you can before doing the leak testing. Spray for a while at each potential leak location you are checking to allow enough time for water to enter if the leak is present. Ideally someone is inside the car looking for water trails and/or where the carpet appears to get wet first.

Begin by spraying low around the doors and check for water inside. Then move up to the door windows, starting at base of the windows where they exit the door. For this test, initially I would open each door and spray the base of the window and look that the door drains are working and not clogged. If they are clogged, then that is a potential issue and should be fixed. If they are draining, then shut the door and spray again looking for leaks. Then move to spraying the remaining perimeter of the windows.

Next I would spray the windshield base and then around the remaining perimeter of the windshield. Next I would spray the roof, focusing on the rails at the front and back. There are drains there and you want to check that the drains are working, and if not working, allow the water to back up and enter whatever leak may be associated with the backed up drain. Lastly spray the sunroof. Also note, that where you see water start to accumulate may be away from where it enters. That is why it is critical to spend time at each location you spray to allow identification of the spray location to seeing water inside the vehicle.

I have done this on my van and found two separate leaks at the roof, and also on a sedan and found clogged door drains and an associated door leak.
