P1155: Sensor is working?
Hello,
my Name is Beny and this is my first Post in this Forum.
On my Lexus RX300 AWD (130000 miles) the CEL and VSC-Light is popped up.
I have read out the ECU with a OBD2 Scanner (OBDLink SX USB) and get the error code P1155, no further error codes.
This means, that the heater for the A/F sensor in Bank 2 Sensor 1 is defect. I have never changed it before.
Now I've checked the resistance (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...esistance.html) of the Heater with an LCR-Meter and get the Value 2.3 Ω on the cold Engine and 2.8 Ω on warmer Engine. That's in the specified range, I think.
I don't want to change a working sensor.
Has anyone an Idea where to search for this Error.
Many thanks for your advice.
Beny

Regardless that you think you are measuring a good resistance on the sensor in your driveway, I would still change the sensor as they tend to go bad by now. Also, the values you report are higher than what is good in the thread you reference. I have had to change both of my A/F sensors, and I have a 2000 FWD with 160,000 miles.
Only use a Denso or OEM sensor purchased from a reputable source.

Welcome to Club Lexus. IN theory it can be any thing related to the sensor. At this milage, the sensor going bad is most likely.
Lexus has already given you excellent advice, Please do not look for the cheapest alternative but go for quality OEM supplier.

Thank you for your answers.
I'll buy an original Denso sensor (89467-48011) and replace the old sensor.
Hopefully the old sensor is demountable.
When that's done, I'll report the result here. This can take two weeks.
Best regards

Hello,
in the meantime I have bought a new sensor (OEM).
But a few days before I wanted to install these, both error messages went out and stayed off since then.
Therefore, I will not install the sensor and continue driving. If the message comes back, I will replace the sensor and report the result here.
Many thanks for your answers.
