This is only a night or low light problem. I always run with my headlights on -- day or night. Have owned the car for 7 years, Lexus 350. When I leave my home garage in morning, headlights and dashboard lights all work. The second I enter my building's garage the dash lights go out. When I leave at night the dash lights will not illuminate if headlights are on. What's going on?

Turn up the dash light intensity. Check the owner's manual ... I am guessing for your model it would be near driver's left knee with +/- sign
Which year is your 350 ... as this forum is for first gen rx .. rx300.
