Default Oil leaking onto the TOP of the transmission housing

Purchased an RX300 a few weeks ago with a terrible oil leak, the entire engine was soaked. So we replaced the valve cover gaskets, which took care of most of the oil leak, but there is still a very heavy oil leak that accumulates on top of the transmission housing. We did our best to clean all of the oil off of the engine, but still a good bit remains. As such, I have dyed the oil and am certain that the oil collecting on top of the transmission housing is "new", not left-over oil from the previous leak. So what could be causing this?? I'm not finding any dye trails that lead to the leak, so I'm pretty much at a loss! Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

UPDATE: Probably the first of a few updates... coolant leftover from the valve cover job was glowing like dye, so there was no OIL on the top of the transmission housing. Now upon putting the car on a lift, we found oil leaking from the oil filter area (definitely oil this time), dropping onto the exhaust pipe. Doesn't appear that the oil is coming from the filter, but we won't know for sure until we remove the filter, change the oil and re-dye it.

This again can be left over from the last filter change. It is kind of hard to collect all the oil when filter is undone.

Hi Salim, thanks for the reply. The oil filter hadn't been changed since we dyed the oil, so we know for sure that it is a fresh leak
