Stutter on every shift with dim bottom light upon acceleration
hi forum,
My car did something weird today. While driving, the car starts to stutter twice on every gear, while sluggisly accelerating, with dim bottom dim gauge lights (seat belt, low wiper fluid, not the tach or speedomoter) flickering when i'm accelerating. Let the car sit, start up and it's back to normal. Not battery, not alternator, tranny fluid full. Tranny shifter ECU related? Faulty idle air control or 02 sensor? No check engine light.

Belt? No timing belt. Engine belts. Esp one related to alternator. I think, you have several belts, right? Dim lights point towards low alternator output and if you were so sure it's good, then maybe it's simply not operating at full capacity due to loose belt. I had to re tighten alternator belt on out 99 RX several times.
Next will be EGR. That'll do things to idle and such.
