Default VSC & TRAC OFF lights on, but no CEL?

All three lights were on (VSC, TRAC OFF, & CEL) so I scanned and got code P0155 (O2 Bank 2, Sensor 1). I just replaced the corresponding upstream O2 sensor (using Denso Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor --- Part #234-9009) and all three lights turned off. I let the car run for a bit and then test drove it only to have the VSC & TRAC OFF lights come back on, but no CEL. I've tried searching the forums and can't seem to come up with a solution or anyone else having the same problem; it seems to always include the CEL.

I did find one thread that touched on a possible gas cap issue, but after checking I can't seem to find any problems with my gas cap.

I also tried pulling the yellow 25A fuse and unhooked both battery terminals for about 20 minutes (most places I saw stated 10 minutes) in order to reboot the computer. This solution worked in turning those other two lights off, but they both came back on as soon as I backed out of the driveway for a test drive.

Any help with this issue is much appreciated!

CEL is related to emission (mostly). I can never figure out why the sympathy TRAC and VSC come when you just have the emission related problem.

Now your emission problem is solved, but you are getting VSC & Trac problem. There are advanced readers that can give you the error code for those issues. Some of the codes can be dumped by counting blinking sequence. Sorry I dont have the process handy, but a search can land you at the right spot.

Just for grins, you may like to reset (instead of clearing by driving) the codes. Just in case some thing is stuck in the memory.

Thank you for the input and the warm welcome. I reset/erased the code using my Actron CP9125 scanner after installing the new sensor. Is there a more-advanced scanner you can recommend that will give me the other codes without breaking the bank?

Also, would you happen to know if, now that the CEL has been cleared but not the others, I will still experience potential fuel economy or any other issues related to the sensor-problem?

Update...

Went to local auto parts store and had them scan with their higher-tech Bosch scanner. They came up with code C1336 regarding Zero Point Calibration Yaw Rate Sensor. I was already on this path from reading many threads here, so I decided to try the solution offered here. After jumping pins #4 & #14 on the OBD-II port my problem seems to be resolved! I don't know if I actually "fixed" anything, but those darn lights are finally off!

Thanks to everyone in this community that has helped me resolve my issues and saving me money!
