Default HID Bulb Replacement

I have HID lights and just replaced the driver's side bulb rather quickly in 10 minutes. The hard part was twisting and turning the rubber gasket designed to protect the lamp and bulb assembly. Now I am at the passenger side and am stuck. Just what in the world do you remove to get at the bulb housing for the passenger side??? There is just no room in there for an adult sized hand......

I have done it before and so has my daughter, but I can't recall what things look like on that side. I don't remember any particular difficulty, but I'll have to take a look.

I use DDM tuning HID BULBS with life time exchange and now they have come out with the brightest and I mean brightest LED plug and play tail light bulbs from Cree, For my 2001 RX 300.
I put them in all 4 tail light sockets and the Led BACKUP Cree bulbs talk about bright backup lights you have got to see them to believe them almost lights the neighbor hood.
I am using 3k bulbs for my fog lights and they really light up the road DDM Tuning is in Huntington Beach CA at ddmtuning.com the reason the new cars have super bright tail lights is for your safety.
They alert people that you are stopping KEEP DOWN REAR END ACCIDENTS ,the new Cree bulbs are as bright as any of the new cars today, how they did it is beyond me I always joke with people don't look at my tail lights to long they will get sunburn.
THEY ALSO HAVE LED HEAD LIGHT BULBS THAT WILL LIGHT THE ROAD LINE JUST LIKE THE NEW CARS AND WE ARE TALKING BRIGHT.

Bill, I've heard some say that the lower current draw by an LED bulb in some cars causes the system to sense that a bulb is missing or burned out, causing rapid flasher rate. Any problems with that so far?

Mellon, I tried undoing the passenger side bulbs today. For the outboard or main bulb, you'll see those gray tubes in your way. If you can't fit your hand behind them, try putting your fingers on one side of the tubes and your thumb on the other side to reach around to the lamp bulb connector, and give it a twist.

TRHS 75 yes you will see your blinkers go faster since the load is so low and the bulb indicator on your speedometer will stay lit NO PROBLEMS SO FAR AFTER 3 YEARS GOING IN 4 YEARS.
I also got the yellow flashing bulb for my rear flashers I had to file one side of the pins at bottom of the bulb to fit in my housing.
But if you go just with the Cree led bulbs you will really let people know you are stopping when those bulbs light up.
what I have noticed here in So Cal on the freeway when I hit my brakes the cars behind me their bumpers nose dive and in city traffic same thing.
Those Cree red tail light led bulbs startle people and they go for the brakes when my lights go this also works with all the new cars with bright led brake lights.
When I am going down the freeway and a new BMW hits his bright lights I now automatically go for my brakes this is why all the new cars have them safety from rear end accidents.
I hope you will try them by the way I have nothing to do with DDM tuning I love their Led tail lights and HID and led head lights for our safety.
I only wrote this article so us folks with older RX300's now can have upgrades in lighting to help us drive safer these light are super terrific in the fog and rain and snow storms people see you and boy do they ever.
