Denso vs Bosch A/F sensor (bank 2 sensor 1)
In Nov 2016, my 2000 RX300 threw an CEL P1150 code the night before a planned 3000 mi trip. I replaced the A/F sensor (bank 2 sensor 1) with the only thing available locally at 9pm - a Bosch. I haven't had any CELs since then except a disconnected vacuum line. The engine runs smooth and idles fine. So I assumed the Bosch was working fine.
Now I'm wondering - is it possible that the Bosch sensor might be contributing to the degraded fuel mileage?
Thanks,
Owen

1. I am staying away from Bosch anything, unless no option. Sorry.
2. After ANY component replacement, I pull ECM fuse for about yey long. Varies, depends for how long I forget that I have to put it back in or get distracted. I firmly believe this has much to do with mpg issues thereafter. ECM has to learn new component.

Works even better. When I changed out my A/F sensors, I changed them both at the same time and went with Denso even though the error was for only one of them. The problem is not so much Bosch, it is that you have one new sensor and one used sensor and that is where the problem can be.
