remove castle nut lower ball joint properly?

I' am in trouble of removing castle nut of lower control arm ball joint rx300 FWD.
Any info could be very helpful

no bonus points for being brief.
You cant take the nut off or can not separate the ball joint.
For nut .. make sure the lock pin is removed.
If the shaft spins as you turn the nut, retightens the nut to bind the tapered center.
Do not use a pickle to operate the ball joint. Auto stores loan out the separator. Leave the nut on (give lot of slack) so that you do not damage the threads.
Depending on what you intend to do .. you can leave the ball joint and under the nut & bolt (going by memory here) pair 14 mm head.
