What is this black plug, wire and tube? Does it plug into something? Or does something plug into it?

To be honest, more general view would have been better. Hard to tell where it is. Looks like one of the service ports to me.

I think I figured it out. It's on driver's side up against console. It the cabin temperature sensor. I think.

Far I know, cabin temp sensor is in the dash behind little grill..

Could it be the environment temp sensor since it's outside?

No it inside. I replaced the Ambien sensor, that's ourside.
