Is there a way you can close/open the windows from the key remote? If so, how would you do it?

You can open all the windows and the sunroof from the remote by holding down the open button for a few seconds. You can only close the windows from the outside by putting the key in the door lock and turning and holding it.(not sure which way)

I had a '01 RX loaner yesterday and this morning, and loved the feature for rolling down all the windows with the unlock. Unfortunately, I didn't know the trick for rolling them back up, so I had to get in the car, put the key in, and roll them back up (although I must say I was impressed by the auto-up on all 4 windows, a feature that I miss on my ES from my old Bimmer). Next time, I'll try putting the key in the door, and holding it in the lock position to see if it rolls up the windows.
