Default Will a 2004 highlander transmission interchange with a 2000 RX300?

i know they use the same transmission , and I don’t mind swapping bell housings and/or rear covers but are there any other possible differences in the transmissions? Do they mount in different places etc? Thanks for any help.

I don't know if this helps at all, but I took a look on RockAuto and found that the transmission for the RX300 is a U140F for FWD and U140E for AWD. And the 04 Highlander is U151E for FWD. The codes are different, but the pictures of the two FWD ones look identical. Probably differences in the TC and other stuff. Likely physically similar. I would't try it myself.. but if you have one lying around..
