My New and Improved RX300...Take a Look!!!
Well here it is, my RX300. I have changed a couple things to help distinguish it from what seems like millions of other RX's on the road. To start I changed out the stock head and tail lamps to OEM 2001 editions. Next I imported a Factory Lexus body kit from Japan, the Aero Tourer) and painted the whole lower portion of the RX to match the top. In addition, just recently, I added a set of 18s from the RX330 with Pirelli Scorpion Zeros (It handles like completely different now, changed from X-terrains). The stock stereo system began to wear on me so I upgraded to a 12" IDMAX sub with an Image Dynamics CD-1E Component set powered by an Xtant X1001 and a Zapco Z250SL-C4. Lastly, I have a Python alarm with Remote start and a wood dash kit. What do you think? All opinions are appreciated!!!!

It is monotone Gold, I agree I could have found better looking rims but I wanted to keep the factory look and really for $400, I couldnt go wrong.
Anyone ever modify the suspension, the rims have done wonders but I still want a little more tigher handeling...also what is a good engine mod for around $400-500 to get some more HP from the RX... Thanks for the input!!!!

The alarm isnt too bad if you have experience in the field, although the RX door locks are on a digital signal which make the wiring a pain in the ***. Question for you spinteews, how much of a difference did those engine mods make? Which one had the most impact?
Thanks

Looks great
I think you have set your RX apart from the crowd. I live in Honolulu and have yet to see one like that. well done RX989. Now please tell me how you went about importing that body kit. I am so clueless as a first time Lexus RX-330 owner.
Thanks, Veg

Here is the site that imported my body kit, http://shop.store.yahoo.com/lexuspar...00harrier.html I didnt see any RX330 parts yet but I am sure they can get them. Be prepared though, they only receve a shipment from Japan every 3 monthes so you may have to wait a while. Oh yeah and they dont speak very good english so its kind of hard to communicate with them. But they're willing to negotiate with the price... Good Luck!!!

for me, i went with the intake first, then after that i added the rod millen... i think the intake would be much better for low end while the exhaust is better for high end. . either way, they are both nice together.
