AC fuse / clutch - how to disable?

Hey guys,
I have a 2000 RX300 AWD and unfortunately it's got either a bad compressor or a bad clutch. Not really worth it for me to fix. The problem is that when you turn the climate control on auto or enable defrost, the compressor automatically kicks on which causes the belt to squeal like a banshee for about 5 seconds before the light blinks.
I've just replaced the belt and i'd prefer not to burn through a brand new one. Is there a fuse I can pull somewhere that will prevent the clutch from ever engaging?
Update: figured it out. For anyone else looking for this it's the MG-CLT relay located in the main fuse compartment. With this fuse relay, enabling the AC just causes it to blink after a few seconds with no change in RPM, so if you're having this problem the relay is a good place to start.
