Default Quick question about MAF sensor and A/F sensor

For instance, if the MAF is dirty or whatever the case may be, would it cause one of the A/F sensors to trip? I have a Bank 1 Sensor 1 malfunction. I also realize that after cleaning the engine bay, I had to re-clean the MAF sensor, because the car was idling rough. I’ve also cleaned the throttle body and IACV.

That can happen, actually happened to me last week and I had not cleaned the MAF in a while.

Clean the MAF, clear the code. See if it you get lucky. If it comes back, it's the sensor. It will be the sensor though. A MAF issue would effect both banks, not just B1.

Theoretically yes, but in almost every case, a dirty/faulty MAF will throw a Bank One code only.
