Default PSA: Go change your cabin air filter

I know. you're all perfect maintainers of your 16year+ RXs. but if you havn't in a while... or ever go change it. 3$ shipped from amazon.

The one I just pulled out of mine was nasty(and probobly original and the swap took all of 3 minutes. Air blows way better, and car smells way fresher

That is all, back to your regular programming.

Another reason to change it is that the blower motor module is in the blower housing, generates heat, and requires a steady stream of fresh air in order to avoid burning out.

Yes this is so important! I changed mine a few months ago, the old one was a disgusting mess and I didn’t even know. Check your cabin air filter!!!
