Hello all, since I’ve had my ‘01 RX300 I’ve noticed that when the headlights are on at night, the right beam from the headlight is angled higher than the left (I can notice it if I am parked in front of a wall and the beams are concentrated on the wall, etc) anyone else have this issue/know how I could fix it?
From the Lexus service manuals, instructions on how to aim the headlights. Make sure you don't set them so that they blind oncoming cars. There are specific instructions on these sheets on how to ensure you don't set them too high. I usually aim my headlights against a garage door with some cardboard as a reference point. Hope these help!
I am not sure about RX, but my two other car low beam headlights are factory set such that the right side beam is a little higher than the left. Dealer told me that so driver can see right side a little further on the road without blinding the oncoming driver.
