Default RX 300 2005 CD Player

Hi Guys
I have RX 300 2005 and my CD player is not working. So I decided to replace another one from ebay. My CD player part number is 86120 48520 and the one I bought it from ebay is 86120 48A90-2. When I fitted it to my car power up but CD and Radio doesn't work. So I believe I need to get exact one or is there any other work around to get this work? Thanks in advance.

There are other possibilities that you may not have considered ..

One would expect the ebay product to work, but what is the guarantee and also the problem could be that your old was still functional but there is an issue with the harness (or something else).

My previous one was definitely not working. It is mechanical fault as my CD stuck inside. I want to know is I can only replace with exact part number? In this current situation looks like I need the exact one. Thanks for your reply.

Please check with the seller to see if the unit sold to you can fit the model year you have. Likelyhood of getting a definitive answer here is low. Give it few days as some members do not visit every day.
