ETC "POWER" mode driving question.
Hi folks -
Is there any disadvantage to always drive with the "power" mode on besides decreased gas mileage? I feel like I always have to depress accelerator a little longer because it upshifts too soon. I've been driving with the "power" mode for a few days now and notice very slight change in gas mileage - does anyone do it all the time too?
Thanks!

Theoritically you should get lower MPG at higher engine revs. You will see this in a controlled situation. If you want the performance of the "power" mode, then you are not going to care about milage - right? So is there another drawback? One could argue that you will average more engine revolutions per mile, so don't forget to keep to the schedule for all engine maintenance (oil, plugs, timing belt change, etc.) if you are one of the performance type drivers.
