So yeah, I finally found a place that sitll carries the clear (2002+) lights to replace my 1999. Get the box today and they've sent me the wrong kind!!!

I've got some black lights, which imho are really fugly. So now I've got to wait for return label, send the worng ones back, wait for them to get it, then send the right ones... Yeah, really lame, considering that this whole deal is now going to take like a month instead of 3 days! I know it's no big deal, but still

Anyway, reason I'm posting this is so you guys can see what the lights look like, in case some of you are thinking of buying them yourself - some of you might even like them actually:

 

how much did you pay and what place still has the clear ones???

 

nice...saw those auctioning off on ebay for $189.
if anyone comes across carbon fiber rear tail lamps, i've been searching w/o any luck...yet.

actually you can get them off ebay..now they are 179...

i asked procarparts.com if they ever going to carry the clear one and they told me they have been discontinued....


i guess the only way to get the 01-03 tails to do lots of ebaying and junkyarding...

Now, why would procarparts.com discontinue the clear tail lights that everyone is looking for, and keep the black one's that rarely being purchased on Ebay. Just puzzles me.

 

i bought a set of clear ones for my 1999 rx300 the other day on ebay. it came with all 4 pieces, wire harness, sealers, and bulbs. it took me only about 10mins to install. the lights are really nice and good quality. i bought it off a guy from ebay. he said that he probably got the last bunch before they got discontinued. i asked if i could buy more then one set but he said that i would just have to wait and bid on them when they come up b/c it wouldnt fair for others. he said lots of people are waiting. his auctions should come up soon so look out for it b4 it gets bought. email if you got questions. good luck
