Thanks as was thinking the climate control was featured on all i might be joining you on the 10" but wondering whether to rewire whole stereo add some amps.

I would lean towards the highest spec possible.
In another car I have an android 10 radio with 16 and 2 Gb. It works ok but sometimes doesn't feel very responsive.
Soundwise it is ok, so I wouldn't worry too much about that, unless you need an insane amount of power

Thanks for your advice originally thinking how cheap but seems you get what you pay for.

After i placed order am told no video out so cancelling as was the one feature i asked about they said it had and doesn't.

I was getting the Android 10 with 10.4 from another seller now they want to try substitute 9 inch which doesn't impress me like the larger screen as shows the air con same screen and rather find another seller with video out.

3- business 20 days to get a refund. should have just bit the bullet as will be long time before i get to see one.

They just informed me the 9 inch has no video out. I cancelled order and not sure if or how i can get a refund now if not all too late as maybe not supposed to cancel order but ask refund first. I have an old / new few years old never used android 10 inch still in box i might just see what i can do with it just had to ask questions because i was told before ordering video out worked and doesn't so paid only to be disappointed and already parted with money.

So, I ordered the one from post #8 and it arrived about a week ago.
First off: it doesn't come with an installation manual and when I enquired about that the answer was something along the line of 'just attach as many connectors as possible.'
After that it fired up, but no sound....
I must say the people responded fairly quickly and long story short, as of half an hour ago it seems to work as intended. Still have to finalize the install so pics later.
In the end it is clear that had there been a good installation manual, the install would have been a breeze.

Of course I have lost functionality like the maintenance log, cassette player and the security LED, but I gain modern navigation and a music player.

So far happy camper I guess.

Looks great what is the sound really like? How is the volume? Can you plug in the cd changer or is that obsolete?

Sound seems ok; there is an elaborate equalizer built in so you can taylor the sound to your liking. The radio sensitivity is better than the original. It connects to the amp underneath the rear seat, so volume should be the same as before.
I removed my CD changer, as I only play flac and mp3 from USB stick, but I think it should work as well.

Thanks for the review wish i could like it twice as really appreciate the feedback. I am presently fixing other issues i have control arms and handling and yearly inspection registration over 1k to keep it on road in reg fees alone. So no point having a ratter got to have it right.
