Default Which after market exhaust to use?

I have a RX300 and wanted to get some info on which brand of an after market exhaust would work well on a RX300, the few that I have been recommended are Borla, Magna-Flow, and Sebring.

I am only looking to replace the exhuast, not from cat back

Any info would be helpfull
thanks

i picked up a jdm exhaust by sheep dog and it seems to work well and sound ok...most of the users on here seem to have opted for the RMM one if memory serves...mine is a b-back exhaust that gave me better top end but my bottom end power suffered. got most of my bottom end back by adding a drop in filter (trd), tho...

I have a Borla in my Ford Explorer and I love it. It looks great and sounds very nice. But as far as I know Borla does not make an exhaust application for the RX. They are available for the GS, IS, SC, and LX models.

Default Rod Millin Motorsports Exahust for 2003?

Well I know Rod Millin makes one specifically for the RX300, simple Bolt on, but they told me that its only up till year 200 and can't garantee that it will work on 2001 - 2003. has ANYONE here used one on a 2001 through 2003?.

From what they said, the muffler part# changed in 2001 from 2000, but also said they part # cahnge doesn't nesssaryly mean its the sizing change so it could still work.

The reason I want to go wtih them other tVS. having Magna-Flow or Borla universal to be wleded on is, I spoke to a few Lexus dealers and was told that it will void any warranty that could have been affected by the muffler.

Any info on this?

The reason I need this and also trying to find a place that will install my weapon-R Intake(Which is another HUGE complicated issue trying to find someone in LA county to install it) is that I installed Waag Grill gaurds all aroun the car, front, rear, sides, tail lights and a huge sound system that added around 200 - 300 pounds on the car and my gas is around 15-16 MPG and loss noticable power.

I have just magnaflow mufflers with magnaflow tips. They are very good and reputable. It gives off a very deep roar.

This is how they sound.

Sean,

I have the RMM Exhaust on my 2001 RX300.

It was a perfect fit with an easy installation (20 minutes to remove old exhaust, 5 minutes to install new exhaust).

It has a beautiful sound and a great look . Only a low rumble when idleing. A moderate rumble only during hard acceleration. It has a classy sound, vs a cheap and loud annoying sound associated with some after market performance mufflers.

Here are a couple of pictures: http://home.mpinet.net/~inthemix/html/Rx300_2.jpg
