Default Key Fob Not Working

I just replaced all 5 door lock actuators on the '99RX (J-O-B). All the actuators are working by way of manual switch, but key fob doesn't do anything. Key starts the car normally. Battery was disconnected for about three weeks. Did the computer "unlearn" something? Any ideas about how to fix? Thanks.

Does the LED on the key light up when you press any button?

Yes, all three inputs...lock, unlock, and panic...cause the LED to flash.

More info: I found a couple of links, similar to this one..https://program.remotesandkeys.com/1...ctions/...with a procedure to do lock/unlock rituals with key inserted/withdrawn. The computer briefly acknowledges my Fob at the end of the procedure when I press the fob buttons, but then cycles the locks twice, indicating the transmitter is no longer going to work, and it no longer does. Go figure. Looks like a trip to Lexus may be in my future

I wish I could say you have solved the problem or at minimum diagnosed the problem.

If every thing works with the other key fob then for sure the current key-fob transmitter is bad.

Other possibility is the receiver maybe bad [if the second key works then the receiver passes the test].

There can be a handshake issue too. I would suggest not to re-program unless the problem is verified. Please avoid the immobilizer reprogramming steps [I am assuming, you can still start the RX with the malfunctioning key-fob]

Dealer visit will be costly but convenient. There are reprogramming steps in the DIY link.

Please first make sure that you need to reprogram
