Default Crank Oil Seal Replacement Too Loose

Currently replacing the crank oil seal. Getting the old seal (replaced ~8 years ago) out was really tough, but when putting the new one in, I barely had to push it. Usually you need to hammer that in!
Should I just leave it and see if it causes problems or should I order from another manufacturer?

Use only genuine parts, walk into a local dealer should be around $40 for 3 seals. I highly recommend you replace the cam seals as well. Tip: Use the old seal to drive in the new seal.

Having replace many of those seals, I bought the installer/remover for the cam shaft oil seals. The front crank oil seal goes in noticeably easier than the cam seals, I never needed much more than the force of my fingers to install it, I always gave it a few gentle taps with a rounded dowel but it seats pretty easily and that’s all it should be is seated in its well. I only installed Toyota OEM seals on my 2000 Avalon, I advise the same to anyone undertaking the task to do the same, many aftermarket seals will leak in a few short years time, if you do the timing belt, water pump and oil seals, you don’t want to take it apart again for at least 90000 miles.

Thanks!
I ordered from the dealer and took out the aftermarket one. It was noticeably tighter! Gives some peace of mind

That is good. I was bit concerned as your sign name refers to 330 and this is first gen forum.
