I am thinking about deleting the resonator and adding an after market muffler. Id just like it to flow better without being overly loud. Also looking for a company that makes a 4 or 6 piston break caliper. Any information would be greatly appreciated

 

For the muffler all you need is a 2.25" inlet muffler. The muffler shop can easily cut off the resonator, and add the muffler. I know some guys go with Magnaflow, about $250 I think. I wouldn't expect much HP from just a muffler. Maybe 5.

 

Just watch out for the drone inside the cabin. It can be real annoying if it happens at crusing speed.

As far as brakes go your question is one I need answered myself. But I have been all over the exhaust on these things. I did a muffler delete and got some decent tone and a small increase in power. Then I deleted the resonator and got some really decent tone and some more power. The pipe is 2.25" and its really easy to clamp/weld in pipe underneath the car. I threw a magnaflow on it that I had found in the junkyard and it was decently quiet but still had good sound upon acceleration. I threw an 8" glass pack on with the muffler and got the best sound from it. The 1MZ actually sounds really nice if done right. Eventually I deleted my cat and just ran a glasspack with no muffler... It just sounds raspy and like a balloon, the crackles are nice tho
