Car Stuck On ACC
Hello,
2000 RX300
Had an issue with shifter stuck in park and brake lights not turning on. Determined faulty brake switch. Purchased a replacement switch and after replacing the switch the car is now stuck on ACC settings (dash lights, radio, climate controls, etc all have power). I don't think it's an ignition problem as the ignition can be turned to Lock and the key can be removed, but car still stays on as if ignition was on ACC.
Removing the brake light switch fuse fixes the ACC stuck issue but of course causes other issues. Thinking the cause may be the replacement switch was faulty. Attempting to have it swapped out for another one but posting this here to get the ball rolling in case anyone else has other ideas.

Certainly is odd. I would double check the work for pinched wires and even visually scan the override (safety release) area that you might have been in. Logically it does not make sense and often times the 12v disconnect for about 20 mins clears out gremlins.
