Side Mirror won't tilt out
2002 RX 300 - The passenger side mirror won't tilt out. Both side mirrors work in all other directions except passenger tilt out. I can hear the motor trying to tilt it out but no movement. The mirror seems loose, when I try to tilt it out by hand it doesn't hold, but loosely wiggles back in. Like I said moves and holds in all other directions. I've searched all over but haven't found this particular issue. Thanks in advance. Greg

The mirror snaps on to a holder. It can be removed by passing a rag in-between the mirror and the shell and yanking it out. It seems something is broken/worn out between the motor and the mount. I would suggest that get the whole assembly from a salvage yard. Plan b could be buy any color and swap the innards.
