Toyota coolant are Red/pink. I prefer the red Toyota concentrate which I mix almost 50-50 with distilled water. The jug has the mix ratio printed on it. Pure water is the best coolant but it will freeze at 0C and hence you must add the concentrate.
If your coolant level is low, you can safely add 1-2 cups of distilled water as most likely you will not making the mixture too far away from 50/50 [assuming what you have is 50-50 to begin with]. I would be more careful in just adding water to the overflow as that would make the mixture mostly water in the overflow reservoir [will freeze at 0C].
I would advice you against the 'green' antifreeze and stay with Toyota.
Other option is to add the premixed Toyota [pink].
There is a DIY on replacing the coolant in our DIY section. See the sticky.
Antifreeze has gone up in price. It may be worth loaning the pressure test equipment and look for leaks. The good thing is you can pressurize COLD coolant and comfortably feel around for leaks.

This is the coolant you want: Toyota Long Life Coolant (red) about $35. You mix it 50/50 with distilled water and thus get 2 gallons.

I have used this in a pinch: Zerex by Valvoline, $20 already mixed 50/50. Available at Walmart of course. I only mention it in case you cannot get to a Toyota dealer and/or don't have $35 at present. The label states that it is for 90+ Toyota, 90+ Lexus, and 04+Scion. No matter your choice, you have to find the leak!
