Not sure if this is just operator error. But wanted to raise it with the experts...

Whenever I fill-up (yes, every time at every different station) the pump auto shut-off kicks in but I am still able to put at least 1.2 to 1.5 gallons of gas into the vehicle by "over riding" and continuing to pump. Never overflows the tank, just keeps filling. I'm doing a bad job of explaining this, but hope you get the gist.

Once full, the gas gauge barely touches the F, and then drops almost immediately (after say 15 miles even if I average 20 MPG on the new tank).

My empty light also comes on when I have about 3 to 4 gallons left in the tank.

All of these things aren't really major issues, but I'm just trying to figure out if this is normal or if something weird is going on.

aprairie , I haven't experienced your first issue on a '99 or '03; but the empty light does come on with about 3-4 gallons left as far as I can tell.

Why dont you take it to the dealer and have them diagnose it... It should still be in warranty i hope... you can also get a free loaner too
