1. Did not like the rear, the back of the RX300 is absolutely beautiful, why mess with it and turn it into an BMW X5 rear.
I don't like the rear.

2. The ride felt exactly the same. I sensed no difference when I tested the RX330 and this compare to my 99.
RX300 has a softer ride.

4. 220hp in the RX300, 230 hp, in the RX330, hellllllllo? More power for the price please!
More torque.

5. Production moving to Canada (took Camry and others a little time to get specs up to snuff in the U.S. production).
Not mine. Mine is made in Japan.

6. Look at a base model 300 and the a base model 330, what's the difference other than the exterior.
more roomy inside. more cargo area.
AM I MAKING ANY SENSE?
RX300 is a nice car and that is why my wife and I was shopping for one. However, there are something I really like about RX330 over RX300.
1. Safety. Side curtain and knee airbags
2. 5 speed vs 4 speed
3. gas mileage.
4. the extra HP and torque, not much but its still more.
5. Turning radius.
6. Exterior. RX300 is too old lady look (just our personal opinion)
7. Getting a 2004 vechicle in 2003.

If I can get a RX300 for a good deal, I will buy RX300. But like I said in my previous posts, RX300 was in such great demand in my area and all sellers were asking more than they listed in the paper, so no RX300 for us.

Well, I have found that prices have dropped on loaded 2001's with nav to around $33K certified. Not too bad, figure $9k off of new.

One thing is how insane the deprecation is on the MDX. Dealers have the nerve to ask for $35K for a 2001 MDX with 45K miles. I can get a brand new one with improved nav, HP, etc for $41K.

It looks like I will be buying a new 04 MDX or a used 01 RX.

We just bought a 2001 RX300 FWD w/ Nav, Xenon, Heated seats, 49k miles and certified for $27k. It was an end-of-the-month, long haggle special. I think it was a good deal but then you look at the trade-in and it was only around $22k. They are getting $5k over kbb trade-in value. They were the best price however in the area. It does appear that most places just will not negotiate much when it comes to a RX300.
